OASIS

A fertile or green spot in a desert or wasteland, made so by the presence of water.

A situation or place preserved from surrounding unpleasantness; a refuge: an oasis of serenity amid chaos.

The Kooks Oasis Gallery has pictures and forum avatars. Some of the pictures in the image gallery are funny, some are pretty and some aren't. I add images to the gallery when I get something I like so check back every once in awhile to see if there are any new images. The avatars are scaled to 100X100 px.
